JM Promotions                                                            Augusta, GA
General Manager, Non-profit

JM Promotions was an event promotions company.  We brought the U.S. Kickboxing Championships to the Augusta area and it is still the home of the tournament.  We put on charitable events such as billiards tournaments, battle of local bands, celebrity vs. elected official softball games and a fund raising dinner that was prepared by area medical doctors which also included a silent auction.  We took an idea, designed it and executed the event.  We were responsible for everything from writing the event plan, budgeting, marketing, insuring, licensing, securing the venue, security, concessions, medical personnel, securing appropriate sponsorship and the actual event management.
